Samira Sabounchi is one half of Bahar Salon & Spa and an inspiring Beauty Artist with over 15 years experience in the hair and beauty industry.

She started out as a younger hairdresser and makeup artist in Tehran, Iran where she completed her first diplomas in the prestigious Red rose Academy.

Samira’s dream was always to own and run her own salon, and in 2005 she opened her first salon in her native city Tehran.

In 2011 her desire to grow as a hairdresser and business owner brought her to Toronto, Canada where she met her friend, and now business partner, Bahar Rahimi-Matin This led her to pursue several degrees and certificates from recognized Academy such as Loreal Professional, Phibrows, Sensus, Maggie Lee, Hair Affairs, Wellspring, Brazilian Blowouts and many more.

Samira is an extraordinary talent, which can only be seen to its full extent in a unique salon such as Bahar Salon.

Her ability to empower women with hair and Makeup that is sexy and feminine, lifting their confidence and improving how they feel about themselves truly is a gift. Here she has the space to make her own rules and work towards her client’s desires as closely as possible.
