He is a past chair of the Plastic Surgery Research Council, Past President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Past President of the American Society for Accreditation of Surgical Facilities and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
