His training was completed in New Jersey where he was Chief Resident at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Later, Dr J was the beneficiary of an orthopaedic hand surgery fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.

However, it was during his tenure at Michigan’s Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, where the young Dr J worked with some of the nation’s finest plastic surgeons and found his true calling: helping people from all walks of life look and feel their very best.
