Our Providers: Dr Peyman Zandieh was raised in Queens, NY, and is a graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan. After medical school, he pursued advanced speciality training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at New York University Medical Center and has been in private practice in Nassau County for more than twenty years.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, as well as a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, Nassau County Medical Society, and the Nassau County Academy of Medicine.

He is also an active member of the Chairman’s Advisory Committee at NYU Winthrop Hospital, as well as the Surgical Review Committee and the Obstetrical Peer Review Committee. In addition, he is one of the active members of the United Healthcare/Oxford Regional Quality Review Committee for the Northeastern United States.

And one which is loved by doctors, nurses and patients alike. Our patients literally come from all over the world, and physicians and nurses from Long Island and the greater NYC area trust us with their own OBGYN care. Our office is a very warm and cosy place in the cold, harsh environment of today’s medicine. We like to think of ourselves as “Boutique” OB/GYN.

We are a truly private office, not owned by a hospital, healthcare group or insurance company. Every single patient in our practice is treated as an individual.

Our goal is to make every patient feel as though they were our only patient. We know each and every patient in our practice. We do not run our office like a factory, and with us, they will never be treated like a number. As such, your medical care will never be dictated; the patient is always in control. All the latest advances in Obstetrics & Gynecology are available at our office.

However, we have not lost our personal touch with individual patients. All aspects of patient care, including clinical and non-clinical issues, are individualized. and catered to each unique patient. Same-day appointments are always available, and all phone calls are answered the same day.

Patients have a choice of seeing a male or a female physician or one of our four very competent nurse practitioners. Our office staff of 20 also includes a certified nurse-midwife, two certified ultrasound technicians/sonographers, a registered nurse, and six medical assistants. With a few exceptions, all aspects of obstetrical and gynaecological care are handled in our office. In addition, billing and insurance issues are also dealt with directly in our office. Our competent and caring staff will do everything possible to keep patients happy, healthy and satisfied.

Dr Zandieh personally oversees the day-to-day functioning of the practice. He started his practice over 20 years ago with the goal of providing high-quality care in an old-fashioned, warm, caring environment.
